Six Dollars and No Sense

WOOO SPOOKY!!! Who would have ever thought that you could get away with spending six dollars and have a pretty decent time. Now Now, this is not a sexual thing like back in the 1800′s. However, this is for a Halloween party that I will be co-hosting on October, 30th destination “unknown”. Unless of course you were lucky enough to be invited. This is going to be a really nice party. We have guests, costumes, food, great music, laser lights and low lying fog! You did hear me say fog right?

I am most definitely looking forward to this party and to all the invited ghouls and goblins that are going to be there. I at this point in my life have decided that there is nothing better than close friends, as well as new friend being all in one place, all at one time. I feel it opens doors and possibilities for everyone. I do hope that everyone enjoys themselves as the food will be catered. We are having lots of ALCOHOL, wine, more ALCOHOL, very large shrimp, little hoagies, chicken (i think), cheeses, fruits, chips, dips, deserts, etc… etc.. and did I mention low lying fog!!!

On a side-note: those that were invited, please be sure to respond no later then October 23, 2011. We need to make sure that we have enough food for everyone. In advance I do hope you all can make it, and wish everyone a good time. Please be sure to bring your cameras as I would like to see what everyone was up to, especially in the fog! I did mention fog right?

Happy Halloween!

HP Deathly Hallows – Part 2 – Screening

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2It really is amazing how doors do seem to really open. You would not have any idea what I have been through in the past couple years, but things have really turned around. In fact, today June 23, 2011, I was invited to the Warner Brothers Screening of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2″.

Let me first say the movie is amazing! It is the perfect finish to an era. Now, I have to be honest. I did not read the books and I am no HP fan boy by any means. However, the movie is totally awesome! I have to admit that sitting in a screening room with only 20 other people in an amazing reclining seat with a perfectly calibrated sound system that was at the perfect level, not to mention the beautiful 3D environment only enhanced by the amazing 3D glasses they gave us to wear! Folks, after it was over I wanted them to start it again and again. That is just how great this movie was.

I want to thank my friend John for this awesome surprise and I really am sorry to everyone that is jealous. (not really) lol. As I stated earlier. Life is looking up. It has never been better or been going in a better direction for me. I love it and I love the people I am surrounded with as well. Thanks so much for everything, everyone! Especially to the people who are now no longer part of my life. I think I appreciate that the most.

See the movie!!! It is worth at least two if not three trips back to the theater. They really did an amazing job and I for one am honored to have been one of the select few given the opportunity to see it early.

A Symphony of Lights

At the stroke of 8pm these 44 buildings on both sides of the harbor erupt in colored lights, laser beams and searchlights to perform a synchronized 13-minute display to music and commentary. The show has been named “The World’s Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show” by Guinness World Records.
